Acusis offers part-time and full-time medical transcription and medical coding telecommute jobs. Benefits include paid time off, medical, vision, dental and life insurance.

In return for such a good opportunity they do expect you to have at least three years of medical transcription experience, with the ability to transcribe from different devices. At the time of writing they had open transcription positions but they were also advertising home based medical coding jobs which they would be recruiting for soon.

They do not specify how much they pay, but claim they offer a competitive salary based on experience and performance.

There is a screening process to go through before you are accepted to work as a remote medical transcriptionist at Acusis, which includes:

  • Completing a test that takes between 150 to 180 minutes.
  • Getting a 96% or more accuracy rate.
  • Choose the shifts you want to work from those available.
  • Pass an interview.

If you are successful Acusis will then give you access to their software and training on how to use it.
