Panda Tree offers $15+ per hour to teach Spanish and Mandarin online for 15-25 hours per week. You will help students improve their conversational Spanish during 25 or 50-minute sessions with students ranging from 2-17 years old.
The company selects tutors from foreign language teachers associations and universities throughout the US and Canada, looking at their work experience, philosophy and attitude during the hiring process:
- Send in your initial application.
- Do three sessions with three different students who will give feedback on your performance.
- Other teachers will review the class and also give feedback.
- If you pass the feedback stage, PandaTree will check your references.
Requirements
- Native or fluent Spanish speaker
- Fluent English skills
- Permission to work in the US or Canada
- High-speed internet connection
- Quiet working environment
- Available afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Prepared to commit to a 9-month working relationship
